Vintage Navajo Rug 28" x 42"

Exquisite condition on this 1970's Navajo rug.

Note the wool welt on the edging, as well as the weaver lazy lines in the last image, indicating authenticity. This rug was acquired from a collector who had it mounted on a wall out of the sun for decades. Finely woven from native handspun wool in natural fleece colors of black, ivory and gray with aniline dyed brown.

Design elements include a stepped border and serrated double diamond center with a grey field.
